Guild Studies Committee Purpose & Responsibilities

Guild issues are one of the most challenging demands of librarians and professionals Iranian Medical Library & Information Science Association. Study the career issues of professionals in the field of medical librarianship and information, organizational chart, and foundation for hiring librarians and medical informants and give the necessary feedback to relevant authorities and organizations.

  1. Examining the status of the organizational chart of libraries and medical information centers and trying to create organizational positions and modify the conditions for obtaining job positions related to librarianship and medical information.
  2. Examining the different potentials and positions that are the place of emergence and employment of graduates of medical librarianship and information
  3. Upgrading and improving the status of librarians and medical information workers, through studying the documents of related organizations in the country;
  4. Helping to update the information of organizations related to jobs and employment in the country;
  5. Responding to the guild requests of professionals in the field of librarianship and medical information within the framework of the association’s statutes and regulations
  6. Providing quarterly and annual performance reports by the operational plan
  7. Cooperation with other specialized committees of the association in the implementation of processes related to the goals and duties of the guild studies committee
